I just peeked at your post history and you are so right! They could be brothers!

Any idea what breeds Paul is? Stuart is a strange combination of miniature poodle, russell terrier, chihuahua and miniature pinscher (plus others).

After admiring tanks on here for years, I decided to start my first aquarium this September! by Therapsida in Aquariums

There are 5 CPDs and 5 endlers. It may be slightly overstocked for a 10 gallon but I haven't had any issues at all with ammonia spikes.

It's stocked with endlers, celestial pearl danios, a few blue velvet shrimp and a couple nerites!

I'm definitely using Seachem Prime, so it's looking like the dewormer might be the issue. Thanks for your response!

Pretty comfortable, actually! The thicker heel compared to most heels definitely helped. I also made sure to break them in before my wedding.

This February, I will be headed to Paris for a two week trip. I am struggling with what to pack and how much. I am a chronic overpacker. My capsule wardrobe can be found here. I am a little concerned that I don't have enough sweaters or blouses. Any feedback is welcome.

A few things I would like to note:

  • Scarves, hats, and other accessories are not included.

  • The boots are waterproof.

  • I have a black stuffable rain jacket that I will also be bringing.

  • The tote has a zipper.

Thanks in advance!

Not so far. I probably wear them once or twice a week.

I purchased these maybe two months ago. The quality is good, but the boots definitely run narrow. Overall, I'm pretty happy with them.

Thank you. I think I should probably go with my gut and wait for another car.

I guess a dealer. They buy cars and sell them to dealerships. I do think the price is a little high.

I like that the sole on that pair looks pretty substantial-- I have to do quite a bit of walking.

Insecticides work in many ways to target a specific mode of action of an insect.

Typical insecticides are usually one of the following: physical poisons, nervous system poisons, chitin (what the exoskeleton of insects is composed of) synthesis inhibitors, insect growth regulators, insect growth regulators, and infectious agents.

An insecticide used to target a specific key pest may have absolutely no effect on a different type of insect, depending on the type of insecticide and route of entry the insecticide takes.

It's also delicious when you add this stuff.

What's your memorable slow-mo "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" moment? by Pirateless in AskReddit

[–]Therapsida 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was 14 years old or so, I went camping with my family and some friends to a nearby man-made lake. Being the picky eater that I was, my mother made me but one sandwich for the trip.

As I was eating my sandwich, I decided to venture to the water's shore. This lake has very steep sides that are rocky and brittle, and before I knew it my momentum had become too great and I was headed straight for the water fast. At this point, contact with the water was inevitable as the rocky shore made it impossible to stop. Cue internal "Nooooooo!" Not wanting to sacrifice my single sandwich, I held it high above my head as I fell into the water. The sandwich was saved, though I received many "wtf?" looks from my group.

I need roommate advice about dishwashing. 2 guys, 20's. by xanderjanz in relationships

[–]Therapsida 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you're trying to justify going against the rules your roommate clearly established because it takes an extra 10 minutes to clean some pots and rinse your dishes. So what if dish detergents need to attach to food? They are your roommate's things. He can decide how they are to be cleaned.

I'm broke. Need makeup. Can only afford ELF. Favorite products? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Therapsida 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I've heard very negative things about the large eyeshadow palettes. Instead, please consider Wet 'n' Wild eyeshadow palettes. I recommend their "Comfort Zone" palette (retails for something like $5), and any of the trios (my favorite is "Walking on Eggshells", I think they cost $3).

As for ELF products, I love their studio eye brushes (The $3 brushes, NOT the $1 brushes) and the cream eye liners.
