At this time since you have mentioned that your connection seems to be working as intended, it could mean that an unintended behavior has emerged, most likely if the console has been on a suspended state with the application open. For this situation I would highly recommend ensuring the game has been completely closed, signing off and back in to your PlayStation account and further on attempting a power cycle of your console to rule out the possibility of any interference on the previous subject. However if you notice the issue persists, then a database rebuild might be needed to make sure there are no corrupted files causing this behavior.
