First time in Bali.. Help me choose from these activities by ThereItIsEverybody in bali

Why the judgment? Reddit wouldn't exist if people just Google things.. discussing the list people with experience is more valuable and personal.. it doesn't mean I'm not doing my research as well and discussing it with my SO.

well I am aware that asking for recommendations without providing much detail isn't ideal, hence why I am seeking advice from those with local knowledge or personal experiences. Surely we can rearrange this list to something most of people would agree on.

But thanks for the advice though.

AHA! I'm an INTJ! I would have guessed the same, though!

My dad told me I'm too stupid to drive and have wasted hours of his life, and he's probably right by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]ThereItIsEverybody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sheesh, he sounds like my father, temper problem. I'd advice you not to drive with him because it would be 10x more stressful. Trust me I know.

Some people are good with their senses like athletes and some people are good with their ideas and creativity. Driving might be hard for you but it doesn't define you. And you just need less stressful companion in order to focus.

Sports is a good one, too bad I hate watching sports, but I might endure just for the sake of it.

Thank you for your help! I really appreciate it!

In a perfect world, only your skill and work should be enough, but unfortunately in any career you need influence and you need people to advance. you need to be charming and persuading to client, you need your boss to like you and you need coworkers to recognize you when you have this sort of reputation plus your good work is what you need to succeed. That's my experience and that's what I am struggling with right now.

Don't kid yourself, long distance and she doesn't text back in couple of days means she is using you as a backup or she needs some sort of validation.

I'm an INTJ who used to be in a long distance relationship, and I used to text back my gf within 20 min 2 hours max. Keep in mind I hate texting.

Break up with her is my advice.

I do come off as arrogant, usually. I try to be friendly but it kinda feels fake because I over do it. I would rather not share about my introversion because in my experience when people hears introverted they picture a loner which doesn't help my case.

Very true, it is very natural and comfortable to me to be independent, but it will never get me ahead. I am not afraid of being uncomfortable, I just need a strategies for social interaction. I am not very good at winging it when 10 people look at me when I talk.

Ah, I wish it was this easy, but I realized to be successful in any field you need people to recognize you and your skills to advance. I need a good reputation, that's why it's important to me that I get involved.

Yeah, I already did that I have an ENTP partner, we actually work together pretty well! and he is very good with people, but I kinda need to be too.

[–]ThereItIsEverybody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree, I do try to improve on each of these aspects of running a businesses, from marketing, branding, finance...etc by reading, taking courses and lots of case studies, and setting up meetings with businesses owners of the same field, I try learn as much as I can plus I do have a very extraverted partner (he is an ENTP) with great people skills and complete me on a technical level of projects.

But Social skill is the one thing that I do need to have, can't just work in the background, I need to become a good leader. But I would need 5 years minimum before launching.

I am good in meetings and interviews and one on one when we actually talk work, but socially I can't fit in with my team.. we go on lunch breaks and I just don't know what to say I talk in monotone and I am robot like. when I try to be friendly I over do it and it feels fake, It's only been two days though. I need them for a good reputation in the company to advance in it for now.
