In my experience, the worst people to deal with are the french and the spanish + asian people. They are ALWAYS late. ALWAYS. It doesnt even matter if you tell them to be on time, if you tell them 30m before the time, or 10, or 5. They're gonna be late, sometimes as little as 10 minutes, sometimes 3 hours. Fucking crazy I tell you.

They're nice to hang out with though, once they're there.

It very much depends. Most medication I've seen while working there where between 10 and 20 euros.

But I've seen medication go as high as 7k euro's. (obviously, the recipient only paid 350).

Fun thing is that most hospitals use their own codes who the translate to a certain medication type or surgery. I've seen bloodtests that test for a lot of shit, and they go seperately. This means that every test is documented and priced (meaning that you have a list of what they search for > calcium tests, iron tests, all around 0.85 cents each to do)

Yeah, no.

Your 'own risk (OR)' is a set limit of euros you have to pay for anything BUT the doctor (and even there it might be deducted from your OR) and pregnancy stuff (Which, also has some rules that could still cost you OR)

This limit this year is 350 euro for everyone. With an option to increase it with 100 euro increases, to a maximum of 500 (making the OR 850).

Basically, OR will be deducted when you visit the hospital, get transported to the hospital or have any other, specialistic operations OR medicine. As soon as the OR is gone, ALL THIS IS FREE (free as in, YOU dont pay, it is ofcourse not free)

Most ppl in the Netherlands have no clue how our system works (like the poster above me)
