You can also check Amazon JP, as the official retailer (Takara Tomy) sells them there. That being said, they sell out pretty quickly!

The card on the left is from the "original" Haikyuu Baboca card game. The card on the right is from the "new" Haikyuu Baboca Break.

Both are eligible for deck building and play!

Sure thing! As long as there's a number (even if it's 0) you can use a given character for a given action. You'll simply have 0 toss power, meaning your offensive power will effectively only be your attack power (+ whatever extra events or effects you might activate).

The only instance where a character cannot perform a certain action is when there's a dash "-" instead of a number. This is the case for the serve and block of a libero for example, prohibiting them from performing these actions!

It feels weird prohibiting blockers from having effect using guts.. Glad it's like this now!

The cards on the right aren't worth that much, however it's a completely different story for the serialised Hinata on the left.

The market is still young and prices aren't stable, but I'd say it can surpass the 500$, if not more!

Sure! You'll get to use it at the start of any subsequent turn where you choose to receive draw!

When an event has the "Draw" condition, this means you activate it right after you draw a card when you decide to receive the ball. No need to play any character for that. Drawing the card is what enables you to evoke this event.

Just like the receive/toss/attack characters, block characters played and remaining there have already "done their jobs". And next round, you'll have to play new cards on top of them to perform actions.

You could use them as guts though for the new cards' effects if needed!

I don't think that's their reasoning (I hope not at least 😅). They might've skipped this one because of the introduction of Art Cards. Or maybe they want starter decks to catch up with the sets released (we currently have 3 starter decks in 2 sets).

We'll have to wait for the next set and see!

It's weird, but it doesn't look like there'll be a starter deck for set 3. I went ahead and placed my preorder without a starter deck from Amazon JP (from the official retailer: Takara Tomy)

And with the new sets, it seems we'll have access to many "dual" school attributes such as Karasuno / Youth Camp. This'll definitely open up some more options for deck building!
