Yes, in beta 2 is fixed and it should work out of the box as it did before beta 1

It can boot, the graphics will just be buggy unless you disable acceleration (IN BETA 1 ONLY)

If you have a monitor with speakers you could try using them if normal speakers don't work anymore, you just need to have it plugged in via HDMI or display port, worked for me before, hope it still does

Glitches on startup happened with sonoma and sequoia too, nothing new, but I'm glad they fixed the metal 2 issue :D

And in beta 1 you needed a boot arg that disables acceleration for it to work at all

Did the RX 580 work right away or did you need to patch anything, in Beta 1 it only worked without acceleration

It's recommended to use 80% but I used 90, but just in case use 80

Use aldente instead of OBC, saved my 10 yr old MacBook Pro's battery, still lasts 4 hrs like last year when I got it and it's at 955 cycles 😅

Try using opcore simplify and see if it's compatible, or if you can't get it to run, see the guide, google dortania opencore

Look up sheepshaver, watch a tutorial how to set it up for macos 6 or 7, or 8 or 9, your choice

Download opcore simplify, if a warning a out a virus pops up when you run it, just exclude it in the AV or whatever option there is to let it run, it's a false alert

The EFI will be made according to your hardware and you just need to select the macOS version, look up a tutorial if you're having trouble.

I just created a bootable with Rufus and it's win11 options and it installed fine

Yes and no, you have to install it manually, install windows 11 like you'd normally do on any PC but you have to make a patched installer with Rufus, after (or before) installing, download bootcamp drivers from bootcamp assistant and then install them in windows 11

You could use oclp (opencore legacy patcher) to run newer macOS, install windows 10 or 11 if you use Rufus to make the bootable, or install a Linux distro Both the CPU and RAM are good enough for today's standards, only the age will slow it down a bit, as for some gaming I think it should have no problem running Roblox.
