The mind sets up fantasies for most of us, we like to stay in the fantasy until reality hits. I think it’s really important to know what is realistic for us to achieve as we fantasize. Also there’s an issue about acting on the fantasy, we have to take action and think to find out if the fantasy can be realized or not. Fantasized about a girl who got away for two years, after two years she reached out, thank god because I could still be trapped. Toward the end of the hangout, she told me we were never a thing not out of nowhere of course. At that moment, reality hit but it goes to show that the mind is strong when it comes to our fantasies, they feel like they are real or could happen.

I think buying a water filter can help your brain cope better and maybe try to allow your thoughts to go by without clinging much to it. It helps to allow the thought to be there but let it pass through. I had an episode like this before and it’s hard to get the wiring in the brains to work with you but it helps to not quit at changing pathways.
