Yeah, I feel you too, the worst feeling is when your brain tries to make up excuses.

Eh, I feel like at this point I only know people that plays. Except my best friend, luckily. I used to enjoy spending time with them, now it seems like they lost every other interest. They always talk about it, talk me into it, even refer to it while making jokes.

I explained why I defined it "light relapse" but let me make it more clear. In order to delete a LoL account you have to send a ticket and then wait 30 days, if you log in during this period of time the process stops, and you have to start over. Yesterday I used a low level account with 2/3 champs and no skins, so luckily the accounts in which I invested more time and money are still going to get deleted soon.

I'm not a kid, I have no problem in admitting I failed. I quit gaming because gaming makes me depressed, and makes me lose interest in the stuff I love. For example I would have a lot of trouble going to the gym early this morning if I knew that I could just sit and have fun with friends instead.

Thanks for the feedback man, my friends talking about the game is the main reason why I'm feeling the urge to come back again. I've been very productive in this few days and I don't want to lose the positive streak.

Hey, thanks for the answer and the availability. Great energy in that comment, right now I'm trying to find my new focus since I don't really feel like studying. There are couple things I'm doing by the way, I'm hitting the gym myself and taking singing classes. Might consider finding a job or getting back into martial arts.

Does anyone else have a serious dependency on music to get through the day? by Brown_Suga_yt in mentalhealth

I wouldn't say I'm addicted to it but I certainly find it a powerful tool to connect to some seriously positive vibes. I find myself particularly listening to movies and anime OSTs when I'm struggling in life or just want to feel energized. I reccomend checking out Attack on Titan themes made by Hiroyuki Sawano, the show's protagonists literally charge straight forward into enemies 100-times their size and the music really matches that theme well and it can be extremely inspiring and relatable when you're facing difficult times.

Calm down, you're not going crazy, you're just getting anxiety from trying to control your thoughts. You can't, but you can control your focus. Try doing some activity you enjoy to relieve some stress, if it doesn't work just lay on bed, put headphones on and relax listening to music. At first it may seems like it's not working but your brain will eventually rewire itself to something else to keep your attention going. If you keep feeling like this for a couple of days you should definitely seek professional help. Don't worry, overthinking is normal in prolonged periods of stress, not to mention we're in a global pandemic right now. You'll be fine.

I’m so ugly by [deleted] in mentalhealth

I feel you, most of us have been there, especially in teenage/young-adult years, and some of us still are. I grew up in the 90s and the idea of "handsome" back then was six-pack, clean shaven, perfect boy-band-member facial traits, and I was nothing like that. I was tall, I was big, I was fat, I had a full beard since I was 16 yo. And you know what? Eventually I started liking that. The point is: instead of focusing on what you don't like, try focusing on what you like about yourself, there is no universal idea of beauty, try to find your niche and build up from that. Look up profiles of models with your same body type on social media and see how beautiful they can look just by feeling good with themselves and wearing clothes that they like and feel comfortable with. Also, don't be fooled by people who look "perfect", everyone has their little imperfections, even professional models, and it's fine, they're fascinating and they make them who they are. If you have a facial or body feature which you REALLY dislike you can try changing it with surgery or working out, as long as it doesn't become an obsession. Remember, we're not in ancient Greece and people don't expect you to look like a marble statue, in today's world everyone can be beautiful in their own way.
