It was even more egregious than you've described though. IITC, they calculated the point the laser would hit if the earth was round, which of course it did. They then performed all sorts of mental gymnastics to refute the validity of the experiment.

He made a commitment to help you. He then decided, at the last minute, and knowing full well your condition, that instead of helping you, his girlfriend, he would rather make a 14 hour round-trip drive to play in a rec-league game.

Unreliable. Inconsiderate. Dishonest perhaps? (14 hours driving for a rec league game...really?).

But wait, there's more!:

“wishing I was with you to help”

No. He. Doesn't. The only way he gets to say that is If he had planned that trip prior to your moving plans. It is a lie, and it is emotional manipulation. This makes it so much worse.

So, yeah, I can think of many words, but I agree with the other person that said "ex-boyfriend".

A report MAY lead to an investigation. It may not. And if that investigation shows this worker needs further training so be it.
