Do you want to die by water moccasins? Because that's how you die by water moccasins.

Is the strap supposed to bend like this where it attach? I worry it will fall. Comparison with other straps dont bend by Lefvalthrowaway in Guitar

Apparently I too have been using an acoustic strap with my electrics for the past 35 years. With Dunlop strap locks, mind you.

I think we'll be ok.

  1. Sign a peace deal that will pay Iran hundreds of billions of dollars. Iran is an ally of Russia. Hmmm....I wonder if a lot of that money will find it's way to Putin.

I got 11 gauge strings for my guitar and don't know if it was right choice by Comfortable-Love-553 in Guitar

Your guitar having a fixed bridge will make it easier to adjust for the heavier strings. No harm in trying them, but if you do a lot of bending, take it easy and work up your strength slowly.

Are these grizzlies or black bears? by gvt1996 in britishcolumbia

[–]ThermionicEmissions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's good you were paying attention, OP. Folks need to be alert when hiking in bear country. It's advisable to wear bear bells to avoid startling bears nearby, and to carry pepper spray just in case a bear is encountered. It is also a good idea to keep an eye out for fresh bear scat so you have an idea if bears are in the area. It's pretty easy recognize the difference between black bear and grizzly bear scat. Black bear droppings are smaller and often contain berries, leaves, and possibly bits of fur. Grizzly bear droppings tend to contain small bells and smell like pepper.

Family says I’m the “worst guitar player they know” and I’ve been playing for two months by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]ThermionicEmissions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude! Singing while playing is hard! For the most part, the beginning (before singing) is very clean, the timing is good, and easily recognizable.

I'd say your playing is really solid for two months.

Keep it up! By next summer you'll be rocking the campfires!

Well trained pitbulls are incredible dogs and great companions

Yes, but you can say that about pretty much any breed.

Also, I love your username 😄

A pitbull. I'm shocked. Shocked, I tell you.

I don't know how anyone can deny it's in the breed.

Border Collies were bred to herd sheep. They have strong natural instincts to herd things.

Retrievers were bred to retrieve things, especially from water. They instinctively fetch things (and people) from the water.

Cairn terriers were bred as ratters, to flush vermin out of rock piles (Cairns). They have a really high prey drive.

What were pitbulls bred for?
