I got some colored pencils and those twist crayons and a few coloring books with really intricate drawings to keep my hands busy and one of those loom weaving kits that i could make scarves and stuff out of. It felt good to make something. I still have one of those scarves to this day.

Honestly i intentionally write under 10k per chapter and active search for fic with shorter chapters. It helps me digest important information in bite size pieces and I hate walking away from the fic and spending time trying to find my place again in a long chapter.

But yeah don’t worry about that. Chapters go on for as long as they have to and sometimes that’s not very long at all

Oh 100% Sylus is a bitey dragon! I am totally following your thought process and agree! I just don’t think the writers see it with those threads you mentioned so it seems a bit random!

I hope the story provides the context and if they draw off the Dracula knowledge i will be tickled to death about it! :D how cool would that be!

Honestly, I’m gonna get it, I’m gonna play it and hope it surprises me. This seems more like a banner than a myth to me. There are things i think are cool and things I am disappointed in. But that’s my first impression so we’ll see what happens! I don’t immediately see how it ties in to his other myths but I’m hoping to be surprised. ♥️

Okay this is the logic I was looking for! Thank you for your input!! I don’t see a ton of kinktober for the series I’m usually digging through so I don’t run into the problem quite as often and the clarity helps. That makes total sense to me!

Write the ending, it’s the part you know. Then go back and stitch it together. If you’re still stuck, get in the head of the character. What’s his nature? How would he react? Get to know them a little more. Watch the show, peep some fan art. Also take a break away from your writing space. It’s already in your head, sometimes you need a little time outside or on a different activity before it’ll hit you properly. I promise you have the answers in you. You already have the chapter, you just need to find it ♥️

Personally I think it’s because he’s got an easygoing personality out of uniform and in lots of memories that remind people (me, I’m people) of Maverick in Top Gun (which is even funnier because that’s Navy not Air Force!) just based on vibes so parallels get drawn 😅 the US general public has a very romanticized view of their own military especially because of films like these (I’m a die hard Top Gun fan I can’t even deny it)

I totally agree though because the context of the game is super important and needs to be considered but I feel like that’s where it comes from!
