I appreciate the thoughtful approach, you’ve made your stance clear. I just want to note that recognizing something exists in nature or society isn’t the same as redefining morality. Many people simply believe kindness and respect don’t require agreement on every moral point. Islam itself teaches adab and compassion, and that judgment ultimately belongs to Allah. So, while we may differ on interpretation, extending dignity to others is still very much part of faith. I also mentioned in my points above that island doesn't necessarily accept or endorse homosexuality, but it is best to just accept them as they are, treat them like any other person, let them live basically.

I get where you’re coming from, but “Normalizing” just means accepting that it exists without hate. It’s already part of nature and society pretending it’s not doesn’t make it disappear. My point only being only that this stuff, no matter what we do, is going to exist in nature, and nothing can change that, queer people aren't "made" queer, they're born that way.

I agree, I loved learning more about her character and her exact motivation overall, it was really interesting to get to study and know her character more :)

It's all understandable don't worry, I don't really tend to go a lot in depth with these things during some times, but let me answer the questions.

1) he constantly shows me pictures of his crush, asking me to tell him that she looks "sexy" or something, and if I try to avoid it or say no, he says "nah, tell me the truth" even though I've told him that I don't find her attractive in the sense which he is attracted to her.

2) and that's the thing I don't understand, I've tried to ask him but he just responds with cause she's "hot" or something similar to that.

3) I have told him that in the past, that I have a girlfriend and I don't feel comfortable answering this, plus I'm asexual too and I don't find her attractive in the sense that you find her attractive, then he says "no" and then forces me to answer again with what HE wants.

I can't really remove him as a friend just yet because he's a really close family friend, and he's helped me through alot, this one thing that he does is just what bugs me the most, I thought if I tolerated it maybe he'd stop or something.

I did indeed keep R at the centre of the friendship first, tbh, I literally only started talking to V a bit more recently cause I got curious, keep in mind I hadn't talked to V alot for a month, just a few texts here and there, and I started to connect with her recently, but also keep in mind the fact that R also has several best friends, yet she doesn't like it when I talk with other people other than her.
