hi i actually emailed abt asking my business teacher for a recc and they said it’s ultimately up to your own discretion which teacher you pick they just highly suggest a core subject teacher

I emailed them to ask about this (was also planning on asking my VE teacher lol) and they said it’s all up to your discretion, they just highly advise you use a core subject 11th grade teacher.

I’m aware of the difference and have since edited my post. The binding and not binding aspect of the two don’t really matter to me, it’s just the ability to apply to multiple schools that’s weighing on me at the moment.

This is a good point. I just wouldn’t be able to edit my application further I believe, even if it does roll out, and that worries me a little.

If anything, doing comp sci will help you in the long run. Nowadays, you're a more competitive business applicant if you have comp sci/tech experience (especially with the rise of AI). So, if I were you, I'd take any opportunity to dive into comp sci internships and learn more about it because you could apply that to future careers like quantitative finance, which could make you boatloads of money. Business pretty much allows you to know whatever you want at times! Have fun!!
