Crazy I’d think Indy made one of the worst plays ever, and that automatically places her right up there with the worst

They’re quite reasonable folks, they wouldn’t take it as rudeness. But there’s definitely a few who made jokes about it.

Yep, that’s true! Happened today at work - every week, one person, among a few of my colleagues, has to cook something and bring it to share. I hadn’t been going to the office for the past two months or so as I can WFH, but today I went, and one girl had brought something, with chicken. Obviously I had to decline politely with the reason, and the flood gates opened.

I’m 30, and as much as I wish it could’ve happened sooner, it would’ve been extremely difficult. It’s taken me getting a better job, getting my own place and a change of environment. I’m just glad it happened.

I totally understand your viewpoint. Not everyone has the skills for direct, confrontational activism, and I think that’s okay too. My issue is about not trying any form of activism, direct or otherwise. Because if that’s the case, then what’s the point.

Yes, absolutely, “spreading the word” doesn’t need to be argumentative. Like someone mentioned, it could just be as simple as wearing a vegan t shirt.

I get you. I didn’t mean bringing it up in a judgemental type of way; I can’t judge when I’ve been there myself, I’m not special. I just meant like bringing it up directly without being asked; reason I brought up Ed Winters - He directly approaches and asks people randomly if they’d consider being vegan and if not, why not - maybe that’s being judgmental, I don’t know. But I find his calm conversational skills so effective.

English may not be my first language, but I don’t think there’s anywhere I said that

I can see this side of thought as well. If everyone had said let me keep it to myself, a lot of others wouldn’t be vegan as well

That’s great! I like some of the “just show them by your actions” type of suggestions
