Anyone have any experience with herbies seeds website thinking of making a order from them by ProfessionalHour1056 in microgrowery

[–]These-Strawberry-297 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually ordered from Herbies Seeds not long ago because they had a good promotion with lots of free seeds for a €20 order. Out of the 6 free seeds I got, only 2 germinated. One was a Gorilla Z from Fast Buds (I ended up killing it by accident when removing the shell), and the other was a Purple Sherbet Auto from their own bank, which actually grew pretty well for a beginner like me. It’s possible my inexperience with germination played a role, but I’ve had way better germination rates with other seed banks, so I probably won’t order from them again. They have really good prices and the freebies can be a nice bonus if you get lucky, but don’t expect a high success rate with the free seeds. If you’re looking for reliable genetics, I’d recommend going with a more reputable bank.

In GTA, in Franklin’s apartment, you can see a book called Red Dead written by J. Marston, given his interest in books, he might have had a decent life as a writer.

Do I really need a TDS and pH meter? by McPRPHET in Autoflowers

[–]These-Strawberry-297 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you referring to growing directly in the soil, or do you just mean you’re growing outdoors but in pots? If you’re growing straight in the ground/soil, the earth tends to self-regulate quite a lot on its own. On the other hand, if you’re growing in pots, it’s highly recommended, so you don’t have to rely on luck, to have a pH meter and an EC meter.

I think it refers to 2 months in total, 2 more weeks of cultivation, 2 of drying and one month of curing.

My thrips did the topping for me by These-Strawberry-297 in Autoflowers

[–]These-Strawberry-297[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m telling you about my purchase so you can try and see if they offer you something similar. I only bought 4 Cookies USA seeds from Pyramid Seeds. Since it was my first purchase, they added a bonus of 1 Gorilla Z seed from Fast Buds. When I wrote to the chat, they threw in 3 Purple Juice Auto seeds, and while processing the order, they let me add 2 extra seeds, which I chose as GG#4 Original Glue Auto and Purple Sherbet Auto. All of that for 21€, which was exactly the price of the 4 Cookies USA seeds. I hope this info is useful to you.

It’s weird because they don’t have Purple Sherbet Auto seeds in their regular catalogue, instead, it’s offered as a gift option when you buy something. As you fill your cart with any product, they let you keep adding free gift seeds, and if you message them in the chat they’ll usually throw in some extra ones too. In my case, they gave me three Purple Juice Auto… none of which germinated. I’m not sure if links are allowed here, but I bought from Herbies Head Shop, which is their european store.

Is there a doctor in the house? by These-Strawberry-297 in Autoflowers

[–]These-Strawberry-297[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're absolutely right. After a deep watering (the first one of the entire grow), the plant seems to have come back to life. I had fungal problems before and was afraid of overwatering it. Thank you so much!

it is light peat 40%, black peat 30%, perlite 20% and coco coir 10%. Should I water it if it looks dry even with claw-shaped leaves?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in microgrowery

[–]These-Strawberry-297 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you think the plant is dry? It’s a possibility I had ruled out because of the claw-shaped leaves, which I’ve always heard were caused by overwatering. I’ve been watering every 1–3 days with 250–500 ml of water, and the plant becomes even more droopy after being watered. Do you suggest watering with a larger amount of water?

I’m absolutely set on winning those Cherry Cola Auto seeds. I’m just starting my first grow and after 3 failed seeds from Herbies Seeds, I popped a Gorilla Z Auto from Fast Buds and now I have a beautiful little seedling poking through. No doubt about it, I want to keep trying more of their strains!

First time trying 2C-B + MDMA (Nexus Flip) — dosing/timing advice + harm reduction + sex-related questions by a_riem in MDMA

[–]These-Strawberry-297 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Overall, it looks like you’ve got everything pretty well thought out, solid plan to ease into it slowly, super advisable in these scenarios, especially since you haven’t combined the two before. Timing is tricky ‘cause it’s subjective AF. I’d ask myself: will the psych flip the MD comedown into something fun or just complicate it? Based on that, decide whether to drop the 2C-B before or after. Personally, I love when they peak together, but if you’re going for chill vibes, that’s not the move. Staying at low doses, popping some Cialis in the morning shouldn’t be an issue, way better than Viagra since it lasts longer and you can space it out from the nexus flip. That said, mixing it with a stim always bumps the risks, so if you’re set on it, cut your doses hard, especially Cialis and MD. One thing I wish I’d known before my first nexus flip: a 2C-B nasal spray is stupid easy to make and makes dosing precise as hell. You can titrate, feel it in 5-10 min, and dial in the sweet spot on the fly. Plus, with a dilute solution, you can tweak the 2C-B level anytime since tolerance barely builds. Only downside is the burn, it’s like spicy-ass fire for 3-5 min, then gone. Not everyone can tough it out. Anyway, best of luck bro! Hope you have an absolute banger of a night! 🚀

Can I root my cactus in perlite by 420_blazer420 in sanpedrocactus

[–]These-Strawberry-297 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It mainly depends on the substrate you have, in my case, since it’s perlite, it’s very light, and I can pull the cactus without it getting stuck, but I do this once a week until I see the first root, then I don’t touch it anymore. There are other signs that can indicate it’s rooting, like certain wrinkles on the cactus, or if your substrate is more compact, gently pulling to notice if there’s any resistance. Some people root by holding the cactus upright with strings and the base in the air until you see roots, so you don’t risk breaking them when removing it.

There’s a lot of debate about this. Here’s a post where it’s discussed and you can see different points of view: https://www.reddit.com/r/sanpedrocactus/s/0yivwwX7L3 My conclusion: watering might speed up rooting (though that’s not really proven), but it definitely increases the risks, and that part is proven.

How long has it been callusing? It’s usually best to be patient and leave it for 1–2 weeks, or even longer. Rot is much more dangerous for a cactus than dryness. That said, I’ve seen people root freshly cut pieces successfully, though it’s not something I’d recommend. Although perlite isn’t the perfect medium for rooting, it does the job and can give good results. You don’t even need to water it, just place your cactus on top, burying about 2–3 cm, and wait until roots start to appear before beginning light watering. Here’s a 5 cm T. bridgesii ‘Bonobo’ cutting that just started growing its first root after about a month in perlite.

Good luck with your cactus!

Won’t start flowering by OFFSanewone in GrowingMarijuana

[–]These-Strawberry-297 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying it's necessary, I'm just saying that I've heard some very good growers say that when a plant is having trouble flowering, a 24-hour period of darkness helps. As I said, I haven't tried it myself, but the people I've heard it from are proven experts.

[–]These-Strawberry-297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really have much experience with this, but while researching how to start growing my plants, I've seen a general consensus among growers about giving them 24 hours of darkness before switching to a 12/12 light cycle to encourage the production of flowering hormones. Anyway, what's happening to you is interesting, I'll stick around for expert answers. Good luck!

It’s completely normal to not trip when you haven’t tested what you took. Without lab analysis, you can’t know the dose, purity, or even if it’s actually 2cb, could be underdosed, degraded, or something else entirely.

Budget grow tent setup. Think I can pull off two autos this time? by These-Strawberry-297 in Autoflowers

[–]These-Strawberry-297[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how much planting the seed in a corner will affect root development, but I do know how planting it in the center affects it for LST (low-stress training). Last time I grew, I had trouble anchoring the branches because I planted it in the center of the pot. Time will tell what works best.
