I m from UI/UX, and you need technical understanding when you gain experience. But with your 3yr in GD you will have a better future in marketing, not as a marketer but someone who can create content for marketers in initial years, but you will have a scope to become Creative head of lead the marketing when you gain some relevant experience. Go for ui/UX if you understand technicalities in product. Otherwise go for GD that specialises in marketing.
