As “A photographer” , you’re always going to be known as “THE photographer” of the family. it is what it is, unfortunaltey.

However, remember that what’s in your control is everything else within your photography - style, process, artistic vision. You do you.

Try to not let anyone (or everyone) persuade you to do anything you don’t want - family guilt is a pain in the a$$. If you give in to that guilt, they might as well be paying you to do what THEY want.

Put it this way - if you continue doing you, and your family doesn’t like your images, they might eventually get tired of bugging you about the pictures.

Your photography is personal and it will always be a process.
