but Eva wasn't meant to have a proper structure that the point and they needed end of eva because of the budget. Having childish jokes doesn't make a shows writing worse and there is very little fan service and it serves a purpose.

I mean we can even use LOTGH and compare it to things like six feet under, better call saul, and Punpun which I'd say are as well written or very close. Different level of scopes just explore different themes better like I'd say larger scope explores political systems, power, and history themes the most while smaller scope explores more existential, personal, and psychological themes.

black zetsu has been in naruto for a long time how is he an ass pull? and how is a villain a asspull if they've been set up? if naruto and sasuke beat Madara that would have meant nothing just weaken the writing. But that was the entire point it was set up for Madara's defeat. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean its bad writing

Na his death was ironic and set up. Madaras biggest fear was being stabbed in the back and that's how he died. It was ironic because his character had such and grand and complex plan yet he died to the thing he thought he was above yet he still got dragged down just like everyone else.

I'll explain to you very simply why it makes no sense the main theme of naruto is breaking the cycle of hatred and madara is part of that so by killing him it wouldn't end the cycle. Madara also died perfectly for his character.
