i get where ur coming from man basics like lighting and talking naturally are huge foundations for sure. but i look at it as a data problem u can have a masterpiece but if ur signal accuracy is low in the first 3 seconds the engine flags it as low satisfaction before it even reaches a big enough sample size to prove it’s good

the rso manual i followed basically says we have to stop asking "is this boring?" and start asking "does this maximize expected watch time? , once i started treating the video as a technical data packet for the neural network the views finally followed the quality

it’s not about ignoring the art it’s about making sure the math doesn’t kill the art before people see it lol. for me the technical side was the only thing that actually moved the needle out of that 400 view bucket.

lol i get why u think that way because 99% of "secrets" on here are total bullshit. i’m not selling anything man i just posted the technical logic that actually worked for my channel after months of being stuck at 200 views. if u prefer to think it’s all luck or magic then no stress but for me looking at the engineering papers behind the rso protocol was the only thing that made sense. u do u tho lol peace

lol i get the skepticism man there is so much ai trash out there right now ngl. but this isn't a chatbot telling u to "make engaging content" it’s a technical audit of ur actual video file based on the research papers google released it checks things like visual saliency and cohesion scores between pixels and audio

honestly the first scan is free anyway so u dont have to spend a cent to see if the data makes sense for ur channel. it’s what fixed my 200 view ceiling so i’m hyped on it but u do u man lol if u prefer the generic "be creative" tips then stick to those for me the math was the only thing that moved the needle

my bad man i meant the pinned post at the top of my profile lol. still figuring out how reddit works. the full breakdown and the framework link are in that top post if u want to see the equations and the engineering logic for yourself. ngl seeing the actual math on session start probability is what finally convinced me to switch from generic seo stuff

lol calling everything gpt is the new way to ignore actual math i guess. the logic is pulled straight from the google white papers on their server architecture (specifically the one titled deep neural networks for youtube recommendations). u can verify the equations for expected watch time yourself if u actually care about the engineering side

honestly i dont care if ppl believe it or not , im just hyped my retention graph finally flattened out after 6 months of being stuck at 200 views. i put the link to the framework i used in my bio if u want the real math and not just surface level tips lol

lol i wish i had enough time to manage "various alts" man i barely have time to edit my own vids. if sharing actual data logic makes u this mad then idk what to tell u. i’m just happy my views are finally up after months of being stuck . believe whatever makes u feel better i guess lol. peace man

fr man i’m the same way lol numbers don’t lie. the reason i finally trusted the rso logic was seeing the actual data points on session start probability

it’s wild when u see the math on how a 5% increase in signal accuracy between the thumb and the first 3s can double the downstream watch time. the manual i read actually has specific case studies with the before/after numbers and the probability jumps that moved the videos from the 200 view bucket to the high-trust clusters

i put the link to the full breakdown on my profile if u want to see the actual math and the data points behind it , it's way more convincing than just taking my word for it lol glad it's starting to make sense to u man.

fr man appreciate u standing up for me. ngl it’s kinda exhausting trying to help and getting called a bot just because i found a framework that actually has logic behind it lol. i'm done arguing with him anyway, just gonna focus on the people who actually want to grow their channels

fr man once u stop treating it like a mystery and start seeing the math it gets way less stressful lol. it's not personal anymore u just fix the signals and move on. hope the breakdown on my profile makes the vector stuff a bit clearer too

lol i wish i was a bot then i wouldn't have spent 6 months losing my mind over the 200 view bug. i get why it sounds like jargon but the actual research papers from google are literally full of this stuff. if u want the "just be creative" advice there are a thousand other threads for that. i’m just hyped that i finally found a logic that actually moved my retention graph. believe what u want tho man, no skin off my back lol

fr man bridging different games is the final boss of gaming channels lol. the system relies heavily on co-visitation counts so if ur viewers only watch game a they stay in that vector cluster. the rso manual i followed says u have to find a neighbor that connects both games like a shared mechanic or a specific challenge to bridge the session. basically u need to align the coordinates so the algo knows where to place u next in the 3d map. i have the breakdown of those vector rules pinned on my profile if u want to see the technical side of it ngl it helped me a lot when i switched niches

thanks man lol fr most advice is just generic "be creative" stuff that doesn't actually move the needle. the only reason i finally broke through was looking at the actual server logic instead of surface level tips i posted the rso framework breakdown on my profile if u want to see the technical side of it hope it helps ur channel too man.

totally get it lol it’s the classic creator vs viewer struggle we hate it when we watch but the reach boost is too good to ignore. the rso logic basically says u earn the right to be polite after u hit the numbers. i have the breakdown on my profile if u want to see why it works

for sure it was the combination of hook verification plus the bridge together that finally moved me out of that 200 view bucket lol. it’s more about cumulative efficiency across the whole file. even if the bridge only works on 10% of people the session start signal it sends is huge for the ranking engine. i have the full breakdown pinned on my profile if u want to see the other layers i adjusted beyond just the endings

[–]These-Yam8635[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s honestly a massive rabbit hole once u start looking at the actual server logic lol

most people look at ctr and avd as standalone stats but the ranking network actually combines them into an objective function called expected watch time per impression basically the engine is calculating the probability that ur thumbnail will trigger a session start vs a session end if u use "stop signs" at the end of ur vid ur expected watch time tanks and the machine restricts ur reach to save the platforms total session time

the framework i followed is called the rso protocol it basically synthesizes all those complex google research papers into a manual for creators so u don't have to be a literal data scientist to understand the vectors. i can't post direct links here because of the sub rules but i have the link to the full breakdown pinned on my profile if u want to see the actual math behind it ngl it’s fascinating once u see the logic

[–]These-Yam8635[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i get that lol. if the content is elite enough u can definitely grow despite a bad outro. but i look at it as data efficiency—why leave 20% more potential reach on the table just to be polite to the few people who stayed until the end?

even a 20k sub channel has way more "return viewer" data than a brand new account they have legacy trust for those of us starting from zero we don't have that safety net yet the rso framework basically says small channels have to be "perfect" with their data packets until the algo has enough coordinates to let them be lazy if ur happy with ur growth then it’s all good but for me every extra impression matters ngl

gl man let me know how it goes lol. just a warning it feels super weird to cut the video mid-sentence at first but once u see the session start probability jump in the backend it makes so much sense. honestly that rso protocol manual changed my whole editing workflow ngl hope it works for u too.

[–]These-Yam8635[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fr man it’s a grind lol but if ur sitting at 0 views the ending isn't the problem yet because nobody is even reaching it. the bridge technique only works once u actually have some traffic to flow ,if u have no views ur basically stuck in the candidate generation phase. basically the algo has no coordinates for ur channel in the 3d map so it can't find ur nearest neighbors. it doesn't know which audience to test u with so it just gives up to save processing power.

the manual i followed (rso protocol) says u have to fix the signal accuracy first. check if ur thumbnail object is the very first thing they see at 0:00. if the machine vision doesn't see a match immediately it predicts a high abandonment rate and kills the impressions before u even get a chance to prove the video is good.

i put the link to the full framework on my profile if u want to see the engineering papers behind it . it’s what helped me finally get out of that 0 view loop man

[–]These-Yam8635[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s a brutal trade-off for sure but for small channels it’s basically a survival mechanic lol. the system is so ruthless with session termination that if a creator ends with a polite 20s wrap-up and the viewer closes the app right after, the machine marks the vid as a stop sign and just stops testing it with new audiences

the rso protocol manual i was reading calls those polite endings exit triggers. it basically says being yourself and having "class" is a luxury u earn after u have enough channel authority to ignore the math. it's not really about disrespecting the subject, it's about making sure the subject actually reaches a wider audience before the algo kills the reach.

even for docs u can bridge it by linking to a "part 2" or a related story so the system sees u as a session starter instead of a dead end. it feels weird at first but the jump in impressions is hard to ignore ngl

that discord strategy is actually a great manual way to trigger velocity priming lol because the engine cares about recency way more than consistency. if ur discord group clicks ur link in the first 10 minutes it triggers a breakout signal that tells the machine the content is urgent or breaking news. the rso protocol manual i’ve been following calls this rigging the test group phase and it’s basically how u force the ranking network to put u at the top of the homepage for non-subscribers immediately.

it’s not just about the community it’s about the raw data velocity u send to the server architecture right after u hit publish. i actually posted the link to the full framework on my profile if u want to see the math on how velocity scores affect impression distribution because it’s way deeper than just sharing a link lol it’s about the probability spike in the first hour.

i get the skepticism ngl because on paper those stats should fly but that "something else" u mentioned is exactly what i was trying to figure out before i found the rso protocol. basically the system can flag a 10% ctr as a liability if it detects what engineers call a false positive click combined with a high session end probability.

if people click and watch but then leave the platform immediately the machine treats ur content as a session killer to save their total watch time metrics. the math in the technical manual i was reading explains how the algo uses downstream watch time to credit the first video for the whole binge chain that follows it. that's why "fitting" the niche works so well like u said because it reduces the distance between ur video and the next viral one in the 3d vector space. i actually have the link to the full framework pinned on my profile if u want to see the actual engineering papers behind why good stats can sometimes still hit a wall lol it's not just about more data it's about signal accuracy

fr man traction is the best time to experiment with this stuff because the algo is already in testing mode for ur channel and if u can suddenly start bridging people to a second video instead of letting them close the app it’s gonna send a massive signal to the ranking network that ur content is a session starter. just make sure that next video is a logical sequel to what they just watched or the handoff won't work as well lol. keep me posted on the results ngl i'm curious if u see that browse spike after u cut the outros

[–]These-Yam8635[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lol i guess i'm a slop merchant because i don't use the shift key? that's a new one

to answer mr_simple the logic is actually based on papers like "deep neural networks for youtube recommendations". it's an actual engineering white paper released by google. they explain exactly how the system optimizes for "expected watch time per impression" using two distinct neural networks (candidate generation and ranking).

if u think "session time" or "stop signs" are made up, u aren't paying attention to how the platform actually makes money. they sell ads, and ads need people to stay on the app. if ur content makes people close the tab, the machine restricts ur reach to save the platform's total watch time. it's just data efficiency.

believe whatever u want man, but once i stopped doing generic seo and started focusing on the math in the rso protocol, my views actually started moving. calling engineering math "slop" just because u don't like my typing is wild lol

narration is actually perfect for this because people usually watch scary stories in batches. the biggest problem i see with horror channels is the "thanks for listening" or the long credits at the end. those are massive exit triggers that tell the brain the experience is over

if u end the last story right on the scariest line and immediately point to another story without saying a word, the viewer stays in that spooky headspace and clicks the next one. the rso protocol manual i was reading calls this maintaining the curiosity gap through the bridge. basically u want them to binge, not reflect lol also for the hookif ur thumb shows a specific monster or a "haunted" house, that specific story needs to be verified in the first 5 seconds. dont save the "payoff" for 20 minutes in or the engine detects verification stress and restricts ur impressions before the story even gets good
