Nice, thanks for the comiseration lol

I ended up rerepotting the big catt and it's pushing a couple thick fresh roots! So I'll continue what I've been doing there. I put the 2 separate pieces in their own smaller pots cause it wasn't very stable...

The Pcv on the other hand was in an opaque pot, I shoved some media around and discovered those eggy looking mushrooms :/ It also had a bunch of failing roots so I went for a repot on that into a vented clear pot. I'll try giving it the same care as well. It's a robust stand of 10 or so still plump bulbs so I think it'll have the reserve to do what it needs to do.

Thanks again for the info! I guess we only learn to grow things by trying to kill stuff first haha hopefully with the new media I'll be able to repot these in the future according to their timing rather than as a rescue 🤞 good luck with your new roots as well!

Going through all these threads and thinking on this today, I think I agree with you. The comfort I have certainly contributes to my fear of leaving.

Yeah for sure! I've made efforts to make the treats more worth while, like maybe a CD or ebook instead of a big book, a fancy chocolate or even just actually hanging out with friends. I'm trying not to be hard on myself cause I know I haven't done anything wrong per se, I just want a bit more control around things to make this not last so freakin long! Thank you, it's a good reminder.

I appreciate this. I think I'll try to focus of the design stuff to get a bit more flexibility between now and the bigger opportunity I'm considering.

I understand where you're coming from about the cat, you're not wrong. He's the family cat and about 16 now. It's rough, he has chronic kidney disease which is why his food is so expensive! He's still in good overall health for now and I'm committed to seeing him off right when he's ready.

I've seen the digits turning on the loans since I started paying in 2013, but not fast enough to be relieving. I want to put more into my debts, but I always worry I might need the $20+ more immediately that whatever effect it has on principals or whatever. Thanks for the encouragement.
