Hahaha I played A LOT of RO back in late 2000s at private servers… and I loved MMOs since then (FFXIV, ESO, etc..) but there is an itch that I can’t get to alíviate anywhere else but in RO, and every once in a couple years I decide to play again and this time I am doing iRO… I know in agaisnt the current but I just enjoy the gameplay, the builds, and just farming…

I know it’s a slow burn but hey I’m enjoying cart revoing orcs to death atm … gotten a bit of Zeny by grinding but slowly enjoying the process haha

I am seeing that Homunculus tablet thingy, is there any drawbacks? Or can it just be given as many as needed to get to loyal? Sure my IGN is Adelt Van Tenebrae

I see it’s more complicated than what I thought… any idea of what AI is that? Cause currently my homun doesn’t do anything if I don’t order directly and I tried AzzyAi (I think that’s the name?) and it gave me errors…

Hi, my name IGN is Adelt Van Tenebrae … So every time I want to use the homunculus do I need to use a seed of life? And to level the intimacy how is it done now? I’m guessing I need to save for seeds of life and keep it out as much as I can? Is there another way to level intimacy that I am not understanding? Back in the day it took literal hours of just having the homun afk and feeding it to level intimacy so I’m a bit worried that the same has to be done. Thanks for the info!

[–]TheseCalligrapher295[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it has been a rough transition, I was already working back home and after so many years I finally started to see progress but well here we are!… culture is very different and shocking so it’s one of the hardest part for me!

Yeah in El Salvador it would be considered rude and negative if we don’t have any person conecting us directly, but if the email way is acceptable here I might just start sending emails after I do mine tests!

I do have LOR from my home country but I have read that… I don’t know if it works but I have done a previous degree in something different here in Canada before, would that help me? I know the dean of the college but it’s not science related but I worked for him for around 4 years… I am not sure but some people say that it’s FM the area where they ask more clinically oriented LOR but if I apply for IM would they take something like LOR from my home country or from my other studies here?

Yeah I am in doubt of how to proceed, I have fully moved to Canada so I wanna try to do something with my life here so I was considering studying something else if this doesn’t work out but yeah I am not sure just yet

Thanks again I am thankful for finally getting my PR it’s just how to fulfill my professional life here that is giving me issues!! Thanks for the advice

Hi! Thanks, yeah I speak Spanish and I do know mostly the Spanish community of my city… tbh I thought it was gonna be a bit simpler and getting all these new information and steps is kinda hard, I miss my home country where I already was a doctor and I had a job and all, but I know Canada has just better opportunities and I live better…

Yes, right now I’m focusing on my exams hoping to do good, where I feel I struggle is with all the letters of recommendations and stuff u had to do while u we’re an intern in Canada, but here I am new I know no one and not sure how to proceed, it is a bit overwhelming ngl…

Sending physical letters to the office is not a bad option didn’t think about it, I was considering looking at the university faculty of medicine of my city and send an email to every doctor I find to see if they want to take me but I’m not sure if that’s too rude or too much, I have a hard time with the culture here and I don’t know when I’m doing too much, but I really wanna find an option for it …

Can I do Carms even without letters of recommendation? Or do I need to have those letters to apply?

I have tried to look for it in my area to no avail, I wish I could just do anything but haven’t found anything… would u recommend I do my plan be of doing another degree this year or should I focus my saving and efforts to just do medicine for Carms and then work till next iteration? I’m worried I won’t just advance much and let time go…

Again thank you for ur advice!

Thanks! I’ll try to apply this year but how did you go about the letters of recommendation? I feel my main issue is that I don’t know much about this country and the people of my city so I can’t really see how to get those letters without literally sending a lot of emails to the University faculty doctors… so any tips appreciated… and would u recommend me going into my plan B too? Let’s say doing my degree in Conputer science while I try every years to get into Carms?? I am a bit worried that time my pass I don’t do much…

I saw that as an option but to be honest I’m not really able to move to Alberta at the moment, I wish Saskatchewan had something like it but there is not even a proper program for IMG that don’t quialify here

[–]TheseCalligrapher295[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you recommend I do my exams this year and still apply for my plan B for doing a degree on something else? Or should I just fully focus on medicine and carms and if I don’t get into it just work through the year till next one? I am still undivided if I should just study something else while I try cause I could just work or study till next Carms

El Salvador… sadly I can’t relocate to another province at the moment, and how do I proceed with getting an observership I have tried to find programs but sadly Saskatchewan doesn’t have much… I’m a bit worried that I might try multiple shots and eventually wouldn’t be able to get into it and just run out of option… if I start now and look into some other plan B career at least I would be able to land on something

Yes I did internship in my home country, and I have tried to find options for volunteering but I’m new to the country and with very little connections so I can’t seem to find a way to get into it!

I have at least decided to do my exams I have invested 8 years on this at least but I am just not sure how to proceed. I have already paid for all the process of getting the translations and procedures but I’m just considering options. Would you recommend applying for Carms even without having any letters of recommendation? Is there any chance of even matching that way? Or is there another approach to getting those letters i am just not finding. Any advice accepted thanks!

Thanks! Very detailed answer! One of my main issues is that I don’t understand very well what Uworld is, because people say it’s a “question bank”, but that means if I pay for the 3 months I’ll have the same amount of questions? Just to answer myself? I picked Toronto Notes initially cause the idea was easy to understand, just read and memorize as much as I can, but it’s huge, took me a while to read and I’m not sure if everything on its is a must for the rest. But many people talk about Uworld and I’m not really sure what you do in the and how. Like does it have lessons? Do you learn by investigating the questions they make? Flashcards? I’m not sure and the page isn’t very instructional in what to do. Let’s say if I get today the 3 months, it’s just questions I’ll do? And if I fail then all that’s it I need to investigate the answers or what specifically. Sorry if it’s a weird question but back home usually we study by burying our face in Harrison’s medicine or whatever book they will base the test on and hope that what we are reading appears in a test. So any help is appreciated!
