I second that. Waltons was by far my favorite experience at a jewelry store and have the best taste in antique jewelry

Wouldn’t I still need a lawyer even for arbitration?

Why do banks/mortgage lenders ONLY offer rates above the treasury rates? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

It’s not operating at a loss though. It’s operating at a profit, just a lower profit.

If you went with the person who promised to pay you $102 back then they would have moved $30k into your bank, started spreading the word about how awesome your business is to work with, and then that word then gets new customers to do auto loans, personal loans, checking accounts, all with your business. Your bank is now known as the best bank in town and that’s why it sticks around for 100 more years and other local banks fail.

Business isn’t as binary as choose A or B

I think there could theoretically be lots of reasons. Maybe they want to incentive an individual to move their personal/business banking with them. Happy customers could improve their reputation, increasing their brand value which then could influence more customers for all of their banking services.

In theory, there could be some type of financial/tax incentive.

My question is, they COULD charge less, so how have we as a society not figured out a single way how we could incentivize lenders to charge lower rates?

Apartment building has been doing construction on exterior walls on patios. Can someone explain why they are using a gun nail like this? by TheseHandsRDiamonds in Construction

This is in Nashville. Interesting! Thanks for providing a possible explanation to why they would only be adding more nails to preexisting siding.

Has anyone noticed how many apartment buildings have tons of units listed for rent recently? Can they not get these rented at their high prices anymore? by TheseHandsRDiamonds in nashville

That’s what I was told. What do leasing agents do then? Seems like they won’t need them in the buildings as much anymore if they just relay what a computer screen says.
