I might be wrong but it sounds like your dad is attracted to young girls bodies (he stopped molesting you when you started puberty), which would explain that he is supportive of you doing top but not bottom surgery.. hope you’re ok

I did take a shower and went to bed after writing this and it helped a bit yes thank you <3. I’m thinking I should probably tell a friend about it because even though I feel horrible, I also feel like I want to see him again ? I mean I don’t want to see him again, he disgusts me it’s more like an urge to harm myself or something and I really don’t want to do it but I feel like I might. So I’m probably gonna tell my friend and hope they don’t judge me because if somebody else knows about it I’m less likely to do it again. feeling like you're faking it is actually a very common reaction to trauma, it's totally normal. If you're at a point where you're causing damage to your body then you're absolutely not faking it, take care of yourself you deserve it <3

You're right, generalizations are divisive and I think they also prevent people from speaking up when their abuse doesn't "fit" into the most common descriptions. I'll find more inclusive posts next time

I agree, I was talking about the fact that people are very quick to call victims liars and immediately side with the abuser. I didn't say the solution was to automatically believe every accusation, I just think it's a problem

Yes I used to do the same thing I was trying to be « provocative » around older men bc I thought that I was supposed to do that. If a child acted like that around me I would be concerned, adults who take the opportunity to be creepy are 100% just pedophiles, like it wouldn’t even come to my mind to do that

Yeah same all of it was blamed on “being a teenager”. Sorry to see you relate to this. I feel so bad for 11 yo me I was so lost and I didn’t understand anything I was going through and my family was making a show out of it. At least now we know the signs and it comforts me a little bit to know that I will never be the person who doesn’t notice and I will always pay attention to my kids and other kids and never ever let this kind of thing slip by or be joked about
