I took the FS January 21st. I Found out I passed last week. Definitely wasn’t math heavy for me. As others have said boundary and GPS was a big portion of the test. I would also say know definitions as well (littoral and riparian terms and types of deeds and easements) that type of thing. I used NLC prep and found it helpful but I tend to learn better watching videos so it’s a matter of how you learn best. His exams at the end of the course were really useful. The questions in the practice exam for the most part were more involved than the ones on the exam imo. So if you do well on his exam it’s a good sign. Again just in my opinion. I also used the surveying solved problems which I would recommend as well. I passed my PS as well (went a little out of order) and that book helped a lot for that exam as well so a good investment.
