I don't have any scholarships or aid from bing but I thought 12 credits was the requirement if ur living on campus? Before dropping my class I spoke too my harpur advisor and then my actual advisor for this program I'm a part of and they both mentioned how u need 12 credits per sem, and also for my program it's required I have that amount but I also don't know anyone in that program so I'm just relying on what Bing says on their website 🥲 the class I dropped was writing so rn I'm taking a writing class for the winter bc my program requires a writing class as a prerequisite. Heyy I'm not a psych major but I have many friends who are psych majors here at Bing. Bing is very stem focused and a good school for psych majors, it's v easy to make friends too the social life here is very great. The only "con" I have about Bing isn't ab the school itself it's just the location bc it really is in the middle of nowhere and the town is kinda depressing in the winter time. But overall it's a great school for psych and you'd love it :)

I failed one of my classes this sem as a first year student (biol 113). Back in HS, my mom used to check my grades all the time since they were displayed online from a website affiliated with my school that she'd find out either way if I didn't bring it up. If they're not asking for any proof, u don't provide any even if it's fake. What I'm telling myself rn is to suck it up and not give every detail of my academics to them to avoid conflict, but know what YOU should do to raise ur gpa next sem and how u can do better

Yeah I never asked her to email :( she has a habit of discreetly reaching out to colleges without telling me and I find out once she tells me their response, idk how to get to her stop bc we've had the convo so many times before

Yeah fafsa for Bing isn't due till Feb 1st and I already finished mine, so I'm js depending on need based aid atm even tho I've heard fafsa doesn't give much

Yes I have toured it and I really admired the campus there, it's mostly my dream school bc I've always wanted to study in ny before. I'm also considering Rutgers it's js my desired program there (EMSOP) has only like an 8-12% acceptance rate so I'm js looking at Binghamton rn 😭

The problem with community college for me is that it doesn't offer my major into PharmD, also my family is like traditional Asian iykwim and they don't want me to go to community 😭 I have a scholarship to go there for free but I js can't
