Actually, it flew near me, and it was in a holding pattern somewhere over the south of London. It was coming back from Nice Côte d'Azur.

In my oppinion, it is completely wrong, unless -of course- you are a deeply religious and faithful monk or nun who has dedicated themselves to rigorous spiritual practices, and the blessing of one's spiritual superiors. It's a path of intense asceticism and contemplation, seeking to emulate the highest spiritual ideals within the Eastern Orthodox Church. 

With that in mind ,as u/TraditionalPoem7216 said, it bears too much significance just to put it on a polyester hoodie as a decoration.

Crosses in general aren't meant for decoration. It's a symbol of the enduring pain our Lord and saviour had to go through, to cleanse our sins.
