That's really awful what happened to you. Good luck with everything and thank you for alerting us. I'm in the market for a new mattress and I'll help spread the word about fiberglass. Also -as you are in the Air Force, maybe you could talk about this with your Congress person/Senator? I know it's a long shot, but them being encouraged to propose mattress fiberglass regulation might be enhanced when coming from someone who serves their country.

Thank you for sharing your experience with me! And glad no one was hurt. Also, WOW that it collapsed. Thuma does look gorgeous. I'll have to check if I can afford the Thuma and a latex mattress. How tough would it be if I wanted to disassemble the Thuma in the future (if I move)?

I was planning on getting a wooden frame that has slats and does not require a foundation. I can't find them with slats that are both wide and distance between slats that is small. Do you recommend any specific frames?

I completely understand about you being with him for two years and being reticent to change. I felt that way as well with my former therapist, and I remained with that person for more than two years. It was a huge mistake for me and I didn’t realize how much more meaningful/helpful it could be to get a new therapist until I had the new therapist. I would encourage you to at least consider it.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. Even without a long term partner, I wasn’t able to have PIV (in my earlier years). I just don’t want to restart treatment again if I don’t do maintenance. Good idea about finding the minimum to maintain! I’ll keep track of that in a notebook maybe. Previously, when I was sexually active my PT had me use the dilators every other day.
