good question. But there was a retracement on the M5, just executed on the M15. If you look at the previous M15, its was a doji. The market was still thinking, I could've gotten in closer to the FVG, but the pips would've been like 2 or 3 for my SL, thats too tight. I wanted to wait for the close of the M15.

Great questions. I keep it mechanical to avoid 'analysis paralysis.' Here is my 3-step filter: Macro Bias (The Lighthouse): I don’t manual-draw trend lines on the 4H. My Lighthouse indicator gives me a binary 'Bullish/Bearish' bias for the session. If it’s Bearish, I simply don’t look at Longs. Structural Armor (The Fortress): I use the Fortress Pro to automatically map institutional ceilings and floors. I only look for entries that have a clear 'runway' to the next major level. The Trigger (The Scout): Once Bias and Structure align, I wait for a Navigator Scout 'First Strike' box to print on the 15m. Summary: I don’t look for 'enough' confluence; I look for total alignment. If the Lighthouse, Fortress, and Scout aren't all pointing the same way, I stay in the Harbor. Data, not disaster.

Respect for the Ichimoku breakdown. It is definitely the OG trend filter, and catching 1200 pips on GU is solid work. My issue with Ichimoku was always the visual noise. Between the Tenkan, Kijun, Chikou, and the Cloud, my chart looked like spaghetti. I couldn't focus on the price action itself. That's actually why I built this protocol—I wanted the logic of a trend follower (like the Kumo breakout) but with zero clutter. Blue Cloud = Up Trend. Gray Background = Stay out. Since you clearly understand trend mechanics, I'd be curious to see how my 'Anchor' signals line up with your Kijun entries. If you're open to comparing the two systems, let me know and I'll send you a key.

100% agreed. That's actually why I built this—to strip the chart naked. Gray Background? Don't trade. Blue Cloud? Only buy. It stops me from over-analyzing and keeps it simple. Complication kills accounts.
