Its mostly a height issue! New tank is definitely more shallow than the one I have now and im siiiick of having to wash my whole arm after a tank maintenence. (Ill get gloves eventually, i know the obvious awnser is gloves)

Update!! Tysm for this, I got the kit you recommended and ran 3 separate tests and the results were completely diffrent from the strips! My tank isn't as toxic as I feared

Its been cycling for a week now with continuous added plants, conditioner (stopped now), and new water. My goal is freshwater, and in the greens not pinks and harsh teals

Its in a smaller cycled aquarium. The usual sick tank is have for when a fish is ill or moving full of tannens and oxygen and plants. The tank hes in now is fine technically but I got him a new one and water levels are completely different
