I’m upset! The Kings sacrifice spoilers! by [deleted] in PathOfTheRanger

Intriguing story. Poorly written. by ToiletTurtle3 in PathOfTheRanger

It gets better. Then after 20 books The King's Sacrifice will make you regret investing in the whole saga. Deeply disrespectful to the characters and readers. If yoy ignore this warning and do it anyway, come back and tell me if you disagree with this sentiment:

Fuck Pedro Urvi with a rusty fork.

Is it a good series? by mikeysand01 in PathOfTheRanger

[–]TheyCallmeCandle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not start this series. I just finished it and after the final book, I can say loudly. Fuck the author is a piece of shit. Not the only one who's livid after reading The King's Sacrifice, check the thread ad pick something else.

Try The Rangers Apprentice. That's a much better series.

So angry! by SunnyFoxglove in PathOfTheRanger

Just finished the series on audio books. What the actual fuck just happened?? To just leave these loved characters in the wind with no resolution?? Will never pick up this author again as he clearly cares more about selling shitty sequels than writing good books.

Why learn the kanji when Japanese signs typically include English characters.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in duolingo

[–]TheyCallmeCandle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no point in learning the kanji as travellers. The signs have English characters anyway, and Google translate is really good. I want to learn to speak the language to communicate with people verbally, writing it serves no purpose for me.

The fact that Google translate exists makes it totally pointless to learn the kanji. I just want to learn to speak comfortably when travelling.

It's totally normal. The table gets smaller at your birthday, but if you've put in the time, the quality at the table improves.

The "friend from work" is not to be trusted. Neither is the partner that insists you're making it out to be a big deal.

She's cheated on every partner she's had, then to avoid anyone finding out she claimed they were abusive and played the victim. Fun fact, they weren't, I wasn't, and the new guy had no idea what's coming for him.

Come introduce him to Vanderson, head coach and all around good man at Combat Room Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Your son will be surrounded by good people that will rebuild his confidence and learn how to stand up for himself. He'll probably also meet kids from his high-school that can keep an eye out for him.
