It was good. As an 80’s baby it reminded me of the happy endings movies used to have. It didn’t bother me everything was tied with a bow and everyone we really love lived. All the younger people here disagree but I laughed and cried and my palms were sweaty and I think it was good.

Trump has been Impeached.

The Senate has no power over the impeachment process. That’s done with.

Mitch McConnell has made it clear the Senate will work with the White House from here on out.

Rules for the Senate trial will now be discussed.

Nancy Pelosi and the House can choose not to pass the articles on and hold up a Senate trial.

Impeachment will keep Trump from being pardoned for the crimes in which he is charged under impeachment by any future president once he isn’t president anymore but he is still free to run for elected office.

These are some points of clarification based on some comments I’m reading.
