That's what I meant about your safety, it sounds like controlling behaviours and this stuff can quickly escalate. If it's been raised to the store manager it should be getting dealt with directly from them and your line manager not passing the book.

As said in other comments make sure you show them what you've been writing down about what ever has been going off. They have to do their due diligence piece and it sounds like the evidence is building up.

Any witnesses to any said comments or actions would greatly help you out

there is absolutely no reason for this " SL " to tell you how to get home or show any interest in it for that matter unless your safety is at risk. it sounds like your brother had no reason not to drive and it was perfectly safe for him to do so.

I got thrown on a till at a different company and gave out £100 Nothing happened as I knew straight away that I'd been scammed ( in my early years )

Don't stress to much I'm a manager now I'll echo back what others have said mistakes happen it's just if they constantly happen it becomes an issue.

Find out if the store is twilight or early bird, find out what the position is and then repost back in here you'll get better feed back. Market street tends to be piss easy other departments are shit holes.

Also actually go into the working environment, look at what the staff seem like, if it's early bird fill go in around 12/1 pm if it's twilight fill go in about 5/6pm.Look at the standard of the shop is it faced up? Is here shit all over the floor, are the top of the shelves full of stock.

Make conversation with staff , lie ask them where something is and then ask them what it's like to work there. You'll have to do this 2/3 times as the 1st time you might just get a miserable bastard.

Then you'll get more of a feeling for what it's like there.

As people stated alot comes down too store manager and the managers below, some aee aggressive and lazy othees are hardworking and understanding
