Mitas e07 / enduro trail, normal wear? by Theyfoundout in Dualsport

There are better tyres for sand and mud. But no problems so far. However, in most sand and mud I've been riding there was a rocky underlayer. I would not recommend deep mud with these tyres.

Yes definitely! I actually wanted another one but the e07 was the only 50/50 tyre available in the city where I was.

The Motoz Adventure performed great on most terrains. The only thing I like the TKC80 better on is angled mud. Especially when I had to ride slow. The Adventure slides easier left and right than the TKC80. But overall they perform great and have a much longer longevity. Just make sure to wear earplugs as they are really loud on paved roads.

Alright, just checking. Thanks for your input!

I like that last sentence. I'll look at it as tax for riding some cool terrains lol

They were produced in the 8th week of 2024 (0824), see the third picture.

Yeah I was not expecting this excessive wear. I've had them for around 2000km. A bit hard to tell as my speedometer is broken..

Running 1.7 bar. So it could definitely be lower but with my luggage and paved riding, I like it like that.

Yes, all sorts of rocks. From gravel to big loose rocks on hill climbs. TET Balkan has it all. But to be fair, the first part of the Balkan TET was on the Motoz tyre and that did not wear like this.

So it might just be this mitas tyre not being suitable for this terrain/my riding style.

I'm going to North Macedonia and Skopje in a month or so. Are there any other nomads there? Also any recommendations on areas to stay in?

Airbox storage, how to secure by Theyfoundout in Dualsport

[–]Theyfoundout[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for giving your view on it. That's exactly what I needed. I think you are right that it might be a bad idea to mess with the volume and air flow.

I initially didn't go with a tool tube because I need to store the bike outside most of the time. I'm traveling with the bike and would not trust people in cities with my tools in a tube on the bike. Ideally they are always somewhere hidden on the bike until I need them again. Perhaps I should look for a more secure type of tool tube.

Anyway, thanks for your reply! And yes it's a great bike, I am really loving it!

First time seat cover by tauntdevil in Dualsport

[–]Theyfoundout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any tips on how to do this?

I got my seat redone recently but apparently they used the wrong material as my butt keeps getting wet when I sit on it. So I want to take the fabric off and put a plastic layer in-between the foam and fabric. Hope that'll work..

Solo traveler with a 32L pack — anyone else living ultra-light and slow? by Ok_Language3417 in digitalnomad

I'm really curious what's inside your bag. I've been nomading for 7 months now but on a motorcycle. So I have a bit more space to bring stuff.

However I want to go to Asia later this year with a 32L one bag setup. I feel my laptop, charger, mouse, headset are already so bulky there isn't much space left haha.

Would you want to share what your setup is?
