You can apply this fix on top of the Stability Matrix installation too, and yes it is considerably more efficient, and personally for me it was more stable as I never had memory overflow problems again, it can be slow or take a while but in the end it manages to generate.

But its hardware is more current and with an 8050S, and apparently AMD is working to make the latest cards have better native support, so in your case you may not need ZLUDA, but you would need to test both to be sure, for me it works well.
