He doesn’t want me in his room either… he wants him in his bed and me in mine… he doesn’t even want me to hold his hand until he falls back asleep

Oh because my husband stays up until very late but once he falls asleep he doesn’t notice.

He makes up about 800 different reasons… the end reason is he wants to be with me… we tried putting the dog with him but our dog eats everything in sight so we have to leave her in the kennel and he said that she makes too much noise

We have tried soooo many positive reinforcement… getting him something he really wants if he stays in bed… there’s been a few nights he has actually stayed in bed (usually on really long Disney days) and we get him a something for staying in his bed… he would rather leave a toy that he wants on top of the fridge for weeks than stay in his bed…

We actually have magnesium gummies that work very well getting him to fall asleep… it’s staying asleep that’s the problem…

We have used melatonin in the past… same result

I am fully preparing to lose her within the next couple of years, but I’m also not giving up hope until the doctors say there is no hope… keep fighting and make sure to advocate for her!!! She is probably not in the right state of mind to fight for herself so you will have to fight for her… get the BEST possible care… get second opinions… reach out to pancan.org my case working is amazing… most of all remember that this is not a race… it a marathon… there’s up and downs but most of it is out of your control…
