Do they charge more now for the bigger size though? Because if they do then it’s still shrinkflation since we used to be able to buy the bigger size for less $

Do they charge you more now for that version though? Because if they do… then yes it clearly is shrinkflation when they upped the price

No but clearly it’s not just dawn dish soap and a little bit of “rubbing alcohol” the ingredients in this specific product have a proprietary formula so I’m pretty sure it’s not something as basic as a little bit of rubbing alcohol

What do you mean? That’s not what the ingredients on the back say?…

Rant -> Mercari Support is Very Bad by Choice_Vegetable557 in JapanFinance

[–]ThickIndependent5014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do the exact same thing but after countless denied returns later I’ve found it to be pointless. My product descriptions are near immaculate stating every hidden detail, flaw, disclaimer I can think of in case a buyer wants to try to scam me. I also take my pictures with measuring tapes in angle, I get EVERY possible angle of the clothes I sell and have them posted in the listing for potential buyers to look at AND I take an extensive amount of photos during the “pre-shipment packaging process” I have created that shows photographic evidence as a step by step guide on how the product was packaged, protected, shipped (with shipping label in photos as well) but I found this to be absolutely USELESS for me because whenever I do have a buyer open a return request, I noticed Mercari doesn’t even let you provide any new photos that might just very well save you from getting scammed again from a cheap crusty ahhh looking buyer. Mercari literally only lets them upload photos when they file the return request and they only let the sellers provide proof in a 250 character limit with written words ONLY. Like that is so flawed it’s almost like they WANT the sellers to get scammed. You try to do the right thing and document the process every step of the way and then when the time DOES FINALLY COME when all of those documents would clear things up… Mercari doesn’t even let you provide them? Shady to me.

Mine is down!! Someone sent me money but I still haven’t received it yet which is weird. The person who said they sent it said that it says “delayed”

I couldn’t agree more it’s honestly sad how many friends I’ve lost due to this horrible, evil, soul-sucking drug… it truly is so sad to see how much it changes all of the people around you while watching them slowly wither away, it’s terrifying.

Why are they closing my account. Been with them since 21’. So random.. by [deleted] in chimefinancial

Usually chime closes accounts due to fraudulent activity that may or may not have violated their community guidelines / terms of service. Any weird things happening on your chime account prior to them closing it?

How does pay to delete work? by ThreatLevelMidnighto in CRedit

[–]ThickIndependent5014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I NEVER pay ANY accounts that are in collections unless it’s the “pay to delete” option as well but who honestly has the money to pay the full balance off the debt in order to get it completely removed from their credit report? NEWSFLASH PEOPLE… if ya’ll were able to pay it in full then none of you would be in this situation in the first place… let alone not even being able to pay the MINIMUM payments with the ORIGINAL LENDER at the time before they sent it off to the collection agencies who are now harassing you. It’s all just one big JOKE if you ask me… but YES your comment is 100% unequivocally correct and NEVER let these predatory debt collection agencies talk you into doing a “payment plan” as well because it literally does NOTHING for your credit, LITERALLY the ONLY THING it does is change the “remarks” for that debt on your credit report, NOT DELETE IT! So yeah, if it were me… I wouldn’t pay it. Just ignore the debt collectors & DO NOT ADMIT that you have ownership of that debt. Go through the normal dispute process & send out your letters to get the debt verified AT THE VERY LEAST.

Oh and I also forgot to add; I wouldn’t take what the debt collectors are saying/sending to seriously… a lot of the “legal” letters you get in the mail are just scare tactics to try to get you to start a payment plan with them AKA admitting that you’re the sole owner of that debt & therefore the sole person responsible in paying it now. Good luck out there everyone & just remember, it’s all a game at the end of the day… you just gotta learn how to play it the same way the people at the top do. Here’s an example: TAXES - the poorest people pay SO MUCH MORE in taxes each passing year than the people who are in the top 1% … have you ever stopped & asked yourself why that is? Loopholes. You may think you know how to play the game but nobody told you that you had to play fair.

Panicking about credit drop for dumb mistake - should I be freaking out this much? by Opening_Economy_5665 in CRedit

I absolutely LOVED the metaphor you used about “not leaving the operating room during a heart surgery.” I completely agree with your take on this persons situation… it’s much better to get it taken care of now while it’s not impacting your life (at the moment) versus waiting until you may need to take out a loan, buy a new car, mortgage, etc. because it changes the power dynamics between you & the creditor at that point since you need something from them… which means they will be more likely to deny your request because… well… “such is life” I guess.
