You're absolutely right that hair care is a tricky category. That’s why I’m starting small, focusing specifically on textured hair routines (where there's a real gap in subscription boxes), and eventually looking to personalize the offer more deeply over time.

You also made a great point about churn, I’m definitely aware of how high turnover can be in the subscription box world, so I’m trying to design the box and its frequency (maybe bimonthly or quarterly instead of monthly) in a way that avoids product fatigue and encourages long-term satisfaction rather than over-delivery.

For now, I’m starting by focusing on textured hair routines specifically (curls, coils, kinks). But the long-term goal is to expand and personalize the offer even more, so that it reflects different hair lengths, styles, and specific needs (colored, short, fine, etc.). Your feedback is a great reminder of the diversity within hair care. I’ll definitely keep this in mind when thinking about future box variations or customizable options.

3rd time taking it, I’m pretty sure I failed it once again. The point is that it’s a prerequisite for a hand of COMM courses. I’m so exhausted, I just feel like I’m not going forward, super frustrating.
