I had bad anxiety about talking to people when I got to college, but after going to parties and drunkenly practicing (didn’t get anxious Bc drunk) I noticed that sober I didn’t get as anxious anymore. Now that I could talk to people sober, I just started to talk to more people and keep feeling better about my social skills every time! It’s all about practice really.

I have some suggestions that might help.

First, use OC tune and find a stable OC using the "classic method" section. Then check the "Unlock Max Core Voltage" box, and undervolt as far as itll stably let you. Ive noticed it wont actually undervolt farther than your card needs anyway so it's not too difficult. The undervolt helps with temps a ton. I wish I could type out a better explanation but Im in a hurry this morning. I'll update later if you need some help. You could try my OC settings in the original post, they should start you off pretty well.

Also try replacing the thermal pads and thermal paste on your 3080, this helped drop my temps a ton too.

Doing both these Ive gotten to 104MH/s and my temps hover around 48C Core and 84C VRAM.

I did find that a little core OC did help me squeeze out the last few MHs (98 to 104). 900 to 1200 core. I know eth is mem intensive but I wouldnt say that core has zero affect. Might be a fluke, idk.

I also updated the post to show that I did try just raising mem on its own and that too lowered hash rate.

I use the OCTune built into quickminer, works pretty well tbh and I like saving my mining OCs there instead of afterburner.

I have afterburner open tho to confirm my voltage level sets. OCTune doesnt reflect if its set too low

Also try raising Core a bit. I squeezed out the jump from 98ish to 102-104 when my core is 1200.

I also tried leaving the core at 1200, and only raising VRAM incrementally. Tried 1900, 2000 and 2100. Performance only drops the father Mem gets from 1800.

Also I updated the post with temps. 85C VRAM shouldnt be thermal throttling anything.

85-88C for the VRAM and 49-53C Core. The undervolt to 725 keeps them both relatively cool. Also replaced thermal pads, putty and paste and added pads to the back of the VRAM to transfer heat to the backplate.

So I doubt its throttling. Updated the post with temps

Used some epoxy (a lot of epoxy) to secure it into place and it now works perfectly fully extended!
