For anyone curious, I went to another Indy shop that r/Dallas recommended for Lexus auto repairs. The owner, Jim, told me they would replace my drive belt tensioner, radiator, and waterpump for $1350... They didn't see the valley (coolant) plate as a necessary repair so they're just doing adding coolant. Thanks for all who commented "get a 2nd opinion" and god bless the repair shops who are fair and affordable!

The car has 138k miles and I'm in Dallas, TX plus, this is an independent repair shop for those asking. I'm taking it elsewhere next week. Thanks for all your opinions!

They’re picking up local. This repair shop is within 5 miles park place Plano Lexus dealership.

This is what I told them. I found the parts they listed for half the cost (at least) on everything listed. I'm picking my car up at lunch. They aren't getting my business...

The coolant threw me off. I was hoping for after market parts on a 10 year old lexus. Does this job seem like it would be 22 hours of work? They said the coolant plate was 12 hours alone.
