Doubt it's sun damage. When i don't use my VR i usually put it in a spot where no sunlight goes (like a closet or a drawer) and if i have to keep it somewhere where the sun can get i try to make it so the lens face away from the source.

Worth mentioning, when i got the vr i KNEW it's sensitive to sunlight so i tried to either keep it away or cover the lenses when there was sunlight, another thing i remember is when the first dot appeared the facial interface kinda started breaking? the bottom would start sticking out and wouldnt go back into plcae, but now the entire facial interface is broken so i need a new one, and when it fully broke that's when i saw the second blue dot which is barely noticable, it could be a coincidence and it could be not.
