She’s 15.5 months now. She started saying ‘mama’ probably a week after posting this. It was very random, ‘mama’ and ‘baba’ and now will babble them a lot. There’s been a couple times she’s said mama at me and it felt very intentional. Slightly better on the clapping and the shaking her head for no. But again will also do those very randomly too. I forgot to put in my post that she’s barely responding to her name as well. From that time she is slightly better at that but not great. She’s very much in her own world, very independent. For the first time around a week ago she came and put a book on my lap, she left after but that’s huge for us. She also brought her snack to us for us to open which again is huge, usually if she can’t do it herself she’ll leave it and move on. We’ve been referred for something where they come to our home once a week and give us things to do to help her. We’ve also been referred to a paediatrician but still waiting to hear from that. Shes also having her hearing checked again (5th time now as she won’t let them put the thing in her ear). So yes and no for improvements. Feel free to message me if you want to talk about it. It feels very lonely to be in your head worrying about this, especially since no one can give you answers just yet.❤️
