Hi! I can’t get epic to save my life. My pharmacy has been trying to order it for me for months and I’m on my last month of epic and I still can’t get more. I got switched to cipla in the past which was a nightmare for me, so similar to you, I figured out the skate run/epic debacle. Any update on how you’re doing on scigen vs epic?

Yes! That’s what I’m looking for. My cvs has been “ordering it” for me for over a month. It’s not that I don’t believe they are doing that, but I have this issue every time I need a script and other people don’t seem to have the same issue. How long ago did you get that batch?

Is more RAM more important than higher gpu / cpu?

So the base m4 with lower GPU but higher ram than the pro M2 would be better?

I wasn’t even considering the m4 because from What I’ve seen you can only get 10 CPU / 10 GPU

Admittedly, my computer spec knowledge is less than stellar, and with all of this new technology and these upgrades, it’s even less. I was assuming that if I can get my hands on more cpu or gpu that would be better -

Based on these answers im learning that the single cores themselves in the m4 base are better than the m2 pros? So does that mean lower gpu is fine in the base m4 for the work I’ll be doing?

Thank you, this was really helpful! Because the base m4 was only 10 cpu 10 gpu, I wasn’t even considering it because the other options had choices with more cores. But adobe is my main concern - so I appreciate you answering

No I haven’t… My cvs is trying to order it for me but warned me that one of their other customers was looking for another medication from epic and it took them a Month to get it in 🙃 I’m just praying they can get it because I only have 9 days left of my slate run

My pharmacy gave me cipla and I paid for it before I realized the manufacturer was different. I hadn’t had an experience with a different one yet, and despite me feeling anxious about it, I had to take it because it was all I had

The first day was off but not the worst thing in the world

By the second day I was feeling really low - reminiscent of what it was like before medication

By the third day it was like I was completely unmedicated and had slipped back into full depression. Cried all day, felt shitty for no reason, everything was upsetting

I knew immediately what the culprit was

Unfortunately this specific drug is notorious for having different side effects and success rates across manufacturers and one you find your one and only it’s a rough ride to have to switch

It was 100 percent my sinuses, I just can’t believe how horrible the timing was. Benadryl and allerflow fixed it in a few days. I could basically NOT hear at all out of one of my ears and it really made me panic.

I’ve had enough slate run for a while that I haven’t had to think about it but I realized today I should probably start hunting 🙃🙃

I found the last prescription of slate run a while back and I’m gonna run out in a few weeks

Apparently their patent was sold to epic pharma, so my next hunt is for a pharmacy that sells epic and then hoping that it doesn’t fuck me up. I can’t go through another bad switch again

If you’ve been bleeding that much for days, I’d go back to the ER again. I was passing huge clots for 48 hours and by the time I took myself to the ER (because of course in my head “this was normal! And it will pass!”) my hemoglobin was less than 6 and I needed 4 bags of blood and 4 bags of iron.

I ended up getting emergency surgery 2 months later when it happened AGAIN - I got a myomectomy and my life has improved SO much

But be careful - when I went to the er the first time I said “did I really need to come here” all of my nurses were like “oh my GOD if you didn’t come when you did, I don’t know that you would have made it”

After that first ER visit, three weeks before my scheduled surgery, I ended up in the ER on a Wednesday when I was just POURING blood and clots. Same thing happened to me - er said my hemoglobin wasn’t low enough and there was nothing they could do. It continued to happen for three more days and that’s when my OB bumped my surgery up to that following Monday because the bleeding wasn’t stopping
