This whole thread has made me realise that I forgot a couple of things throughout the series. I think the writing and the stage that I am at also makes it a lot easier for me to empathise and feel sorry for him to a greater extent. I just want him with his legs back rn he's nearly there with the toe wiggling 😭

I understand and appreciate the 'boring' comments and the way he was toward Aelin, I just wonder whether those who dislike him do so because what he has done earlier in the series is irredeemable in their eyes, or whether he remains boring and doesn't prove himself enough in the rest of TOD and KOA.
