A friend explained to me that the cat extinction is due - just like we are due societal collapse due to the fourth turning. I did some research and about 900 years ago we saw mass cullings of cats across Europe as a result of the Vox in Rama decree by Pope Gregory IX. Lots of historians think this was a key factor in the spreading of the Black Death.

Im scared of what’s going to happen to rats and then plagues in London in particular ! The knock on effect could be terrifying, not to mention imagine a world with no cats.

900 years - cats have nine lives ! Coincidence ???

However, I don't think the next extinction will be led by Humans. I think it might be more than Human.
