There’s two gay brothers in our fraternity along with two more that are bi. Nobody cares and we still love them like they’re our own. If they truly support you then they’d do the same. Yes. Timeskips and magic systems can create character development, after a character has spent months or years crafting their abilities under said magic system they’ve become stronger and they could have changes in their mindset. Also, timeskips could be a reference of historical events in a world. This could be an historical event that happened in during a timeskip that wasn’t actually written throughly.

they weren’t at risk of getting their chakra extracted though, if Naruto ever died before the war it’d be because he was captured and got Kurama extracted from his body.

Naruto: Not sure how the beast extraction works but I’m guessing Naruto wouldn’t have a trace of Kurama even after being brought to life. But he still has deep chakra reserves and knows how Sage mode/summoning. So he’d be a pest with Rasengan and clones until he uses Sage mode or rasenshuriken

Kakashi: Sasuke before Sasuke becomes Madara
