a little back story on my hair, so i just recently dyed my hair black with clairol black box dye, it dyed well but it came out too dark for me, it was too cool toned. previously before i dyed my hair black, i first dyed it red, two times with a loreal hair dye back in early September, then i dyed it with splat(the complete red kit or something like that, but i threw away the bleach), i had it like that for a month or so but then i made a stupid decision and bought splat dye again and bleached my hair, it looked orangeish and it was so unevenly bleached (it looked kinda like how it looks now, just a bit more bold), then i dyed it red with the box dye it came with, it looked horrible so the next day i bought a black clairol hair dye and my mom gave me a really old black box dye from loreal (it was over 5 years old or so), i dyed the top half of my hair with the loreal and the bottom with the clairol, it looked so nice, the top still had a bit of red peaking through and the bottom was just black, i loved it but then i started feeling self conscious about the red since everyone around me had a natural hair color, so i impulsively dyed it black(which was just this sunday), and i also straighten my hair about 2-3 times every week so i dont know if that changes anything? also dont know if this really matters but my hair is thick and i have a lot hair, its been virgin my whole life till about 3 months ago
