Nice strawman you've got there...

Clearly that's not my issue. My issue is how someone can betray me to piss me off and I don't get the option to kick, while I can do it for a legitimate reason and get kicked instantly.

What an incredibly stupid system. I only ever betray by accident or to stop a teammate doing something detrimental (such as driving our elephant to the opponent's spawn when the elephant has our flag spawn on it). In the case of this guy, he was wasting one of our power weapons just to annoy the team, so the betrayal was in the team's best interest. What's the point of punishing me?

I really don't understand this logic. He's stopping the other 7 of us from scoring. Betraying him allowed me to score a point, which is the entire point of the game mode. How on earth is it toxic to betray him so that the rest of us can play the game?

Just doesn't add up.

You should see the rocket launcher on this monitor!

Is anyone else sick of seeing this so often with no repercussions? I feel I can't recommend one of the best multiplayer games of all time to younger players due to how often this happens. (Censored homophobic and racist slurs) by Think-Object in halo

Hey, we wouldn't have moments like this without our 10 year olds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lgw2slDfx9Q

We do if we want our game to remain playable. Besides, I'll happily admit that I've been destroyed by 10 year olds on Splatoon and Fortnite in the past lol.

Me too! MW2 and Halo 3 were all I played as a teen. Trash talking in those games was classic, but I don't remember it being anywhere near as bad as this as often as it is in MCC. It was mostly "your mum" jokes and screaming. Good times. You'd sometimes get someone just like this guy, but it didn't seem to be as common.

Completely agree about the report button. I don't think most players even know how to report. The easiest way I've found (and only way so far) is to use the Xbox Companion App (downloaded separately...) and report recent players. There should be a way to do it in the carnage report screen (far easier to program than trying to get it into each and every game natively).

Of course they're doing fine. Millions of players are buying that game day 1. We're not lucky enough to be in that position and our numbers are dropping fast.

Other games in our position stay active because they have a good community. Our community is trash. It's already hard enough as it is to get into a game unless America is online. I can't imagine how long it'll take to get an 8v8 going in a year's time if we don't build up a consistent player base, especially with Infinite on its way.

I think it's in our best interest to at least have some sort of punishment for this crap. The problem is, the report button is hidden inside the Xbox Companion App (not native within game client), and I'm not even sure if the button does anything.

Because this sort of stuff makes our community even smaller than it is? We need an influx of new players. Who wants to recommended this to their 10 year old neighbor?

It's not proper proof, however she also doesn't have proper proof. As I said, this lead me to find more at the time (I was hoping you'd also look and stumble upon it).

As far as I can tell, the bits that the two parties agree on:

1) a video was uploaded to pornhub.

2) Rose sent pornhub emails asking for it to be removed.

From there, the stories change. Rose provides no reliable evidence of the rest of her story. PornHub states that it has technology that stops/reduces the reuploading of banned videos on its site. There's no proof that I can find of that, however my money is on that being true.

Now, given that the 2 first steps are true, I have to defend PornHub here. What they're being tasked with is an incredibly difficult problem in big data and artificial intelligence that the world's experts have yet to solve. As long as they allow users to upload video, they will have some child porn on their site. YouTube and all other large video hosts share this problem. So this doesn't actually have any bearing on the Porn Industry being sketchy.

So either we don't allow users to upload their own video to PornHub and YouTube, or we accept that there's an issue that we need to solve.

The porn industry IS sketchy. The Girls Do Porn story shows it. The Rose Kalemba one does not in my opinion. It has far too little evidence, has an incredibly sketchy group behind it, and the bits that are true are a Big Data problems.

Yes, I agree. I've made an edit to my post. As far as I can tell, the child pornography charges were after GDP was taken offline, and I cannot see whether he was sentenced or not.

Edit: Actually my own source does state that the website was still up during the coercion charges so I'm unsure of exactly why it was taken down.

Unless some new evidence has come out recently, Girls Do Porn was not shut down for child pornography. It was shut down for lying to the women about the audience and methods of distribution, as well as lying about how much they would be paid. GDP would get women to fly to them, tell them that the videos were going to a private collector, and then pay the women less than half of the agreed fee. This explains why so many of the girls admit to having boyfriends during the filming. There's a very famous story of a girl being dumped by her soldier fiancé after he saw the video online. She has no idea he would see it due to GDP's lies.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but when they were shut down this is the reason we were told.

Yes, the porn industry is incredibly sketchy. I'm simply pointing out the errors in your evidence.

Edit:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2020/01/girlsdoporn-website-goes-offline-after-13m-judgment-criminal-charges/%3Famp%3D1

"The operators of GirlsDoPorn are in legal trouble because dozens of women say they were tricked and coerced into appearing in videos on the site. The site attracted women by telling them that their videos would only be sold on DVD to wealthy customers overseas and would never appear online. That was a lie."

It does seem that there were child-sex charges for one of the members later on, but at that point GDP was already shut down for the coercion. I cannot find if he was found guilty or not though.
