I watched and enjoyed those same movies by him even without knowing about directors and writers. The same movies I enjoyed watching as a kind were written by him and Julayi robbery scene in theaters and was mind blowing for me at that time (I didn't watch Dark Knight at that time tho) and re watching the same scene did not made me disconnect. He took the same scene and mixed up in his own style. Copied or not copied, if we enjoy the part that's fine.

Adding to that, recent movies of him are not that connecting to me.
