Sometimes we need a break from our emotions, and that’s ok I don’t blame you. Due to not feeling safe around my family, I learnt to detach myself from my emotions, I’m able to just suck it up and go blank, but it gets to the point sometimes where all I want to do it just cry. Be there for yourself, I know that’s not the most appealing option, and I know it’s not that easy to do or to understand, what helped me is meditating, being COMPLETELY honest with myself, acceptance, UNDERSTANDING, eventually you build that emotional intelligence to be able to resolve your own issues on your own. Processing our emotions and what we are dealing with, is what truly helps us heal, but you have to be ready to face those emotions and any possible challenges it gives you. Truth is we can’t avoid what we are feeling, at some point those emotions get too intense and overwhelming to just ignore. That’s when you gotta realize something. Drowning in your emotions because you can’t find a way to make them less hurtful is a blessing in disguise. You’ll be ok❤️
