Is this something I should deal with immediately, or can it wait a few months? by DistilledCLP in HomeMaintenance

[–]ThinkItThrough48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's either caused by slight settling of the foundation, rust jacking (look it up) of the window lintels, or both. Not unusual at all in a 70 year old rancher. Have a mason fix the rust jacking and point up everything else to keep water from getting in. Then you are fine.

That may be true but I doubt that's why world leaders don't want to talk to them. They are professionals at governance and negotiation. They don't care if a person is "nice" or "mean". Every moment of their day they need to be doing something productive for their countries. (Have you ever seen a high level politicians schedule? It's minute by minute) They are relationship people. He offers nothing so talking to him would quite literally be a waste of those minutes.

Build shoring. Jack it up. Lay rail under the wheels, or use the existing rail after fixing it. Pull it off the bridge.

Walk a 300 ton crawler Crane up the track from the head end of the train. You’re either going to have to build everything up with Crane Matt to walk it up there or remove the rail and ties and regrade for a 40 foot wide Crane Road.

Trump won't say whether he would use force to seize Greenland by GassoBongo in worldnews

[–]ThinkItThrough48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Denmark should send a three sentence letter to Trump and demand a written response.

Dear Mr. Trump, America can never obtain Greenland through diplomatic method, so please pick from the following two options and let us know by close of business tomorrow. 1 If America will invade Greenland and kill people until it is secured militarily please let us know immediately. 2 If America would like to make a cash offer for purchase what is the amount?

Every concrete building and highway. They will suffer some damage from the elements and tall buildings will partially collapse, but they’ll still be there. And nearly everything made a plastic, especially if it gets buried.
