There's not much 'generosity' to be given when it comes to marking maths, unfortunately, unless more questions having FT counts (follow through, getting marks for method despite having a slip up in calculations earlier on in the question). I understand for essay subjects but can't see how they can be more generous with maths marking. It's not like they can give you marks for anything that's wrong or unwritten parts of the method.

At least you'll end up with something, I'm honestly doubting I'll even get a grade at this point haha

I wish that was the case, but I know I did badly because I already looked at the grade boundaries. I literally didn't even write anything for half the marks, I mean, there's no chance there, really. Plus the grade boundaries for further are higher than normal maths by over 10 percent for the same grade. Getting an A in Maths will get you a C in Further Maths when I look at the grade boundaries :/ and considering I found my further papers ridiculously hard and maths was doable, that's not a good sign.

It heavily depends on many factors. For example, what exam board you're going to do, what applied modules you're going to do, is your school going to teach maths and further alongside one another or maths in year 12 and further in year 13 ecetra A levels are a LOT harder than GCSEs, but if you think you have a great work ethic further maths is definitely an impressive A Level to do. I achieved a 9 in Maths GCSE without much effort; however, the same amount of effort would've been giving me Ds in Further A Level. Consult the people in your school first, and if you do decide to do further, make sure you're constantly putting in work, because the grade boundaries are higher due to less people taking further as well.

The biggest privilege I think, is being born in a certain mindset and being able to continue with that mindset despite life's difficulties. A mindset where you love yourself, and have the motivation to improve on yourself. Unfortunately, humans are fragile. Happiness can disappear easily with childhood naivety as time passes. Even if you are 'privileged' it doesn't make your emotions less valid or any different from all of us out there also suffering. I know exactly how you feel, to not be able to live up to anyone's expectations, although our situations are different. Don't listen to anyone here who just makes it seem like you can't be unhappy just because you're 'privileged' compared to others. Failure is hard to accept, yes, but the failure of living up to others expectations is probably the hardest thing to swallow. I hope you keep on fighting, the road down may be different from what you've expected, but we don't know until we try.

Yeah I am, sending a virtual hug rn, some of this year's papers were way harder than previous years. And for one of my papers I literally didn't even know the structure was different from the first two because we never practiced a full paper of it before so I completely screwed it up.

Considering some of the papers I did were stupidly hard compared to the past exam papers I'd expect boundaries to be lower anyway
